Airport

The closest major airport is Munich’s Franz Josef Strauss International Airport (MUC). It is located approximately 40 km from the city center. To get to the event hotel from the train station you can:

  • Take public transportation. Take the local S-Train line S8 to ‘München Ost’ (Munich East Station), transfer to the Bus Station ‘Ostbahnhof Friedenstraße’ in the Direction ‘Messestadt Ost’ and ride 9 stops until ‘Burgauerstraße’. From there it is a 3 min walk to the Eisbachstudios.It takes approximately 50 min and the fare is 11.60 € one way.

  • Take a taxi. Fare is approximately 65 € one way.

Train

The Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) is located approximately 10 km from the recommended hotels. To get to the hotel from the central station you can:

IBIS Styles or INNSIDE Hotel

  • Take the local S-Train line S4 (Grafing Bahnhof) or S6 (Ebersberg Oberbay) and ride 7 stops till ‘Berg am Laim’, then change into the Bus 190 (Messestadt Ost) or Bus 191 (Zamilapark) and ride 4 stops until ‘Süskindstraße’. It takes approximately 35 min and the fare is 2,90 € one way.

  • Take a taxi. Fare is approximately 25 € one way and it takes around 23 min.

Moxy or Mercure Hotel

  • Take the subway line U2 (Messestadt Ost) and ride for 13 stops until ‘Messestadt West’, then change into the Bus 263 (Feldkirchen/Heimstetten Nord) or the Bus 264 (Riem Dornach) and ride 3 stops until ‘Dornach, Karl-Hammerschmidt-Str.’. It takes approximately 35 min and the fare is 2,90 € one way.
  • Take a taxi. Fare is approximately 20 € and it takes around 20 min.

Car

  • Coming from the city center use the A94 in the direction ‘Messe Riem’ and turn right at the third exit ‘Daglfing’. After 150m turn right into ‘Grasbrunner Straße’ ein. At the end of the street is our event area.

  • Heading towards the city leave the A94 at the ‘Daglfing’ exit and drive until the roundabout. Leave it at the first exit and you will already be on ‘Grasbrunner Straße’. Follow the road to the end to get to our event area

How to Get Around

To facilitate ease of travel during the event, Celonis has arranged shuttle transportation between the hotel and event venue. The shuttle is free of charge and runs periodically. Participants are, of course, welcome to arrange their own travel:

  • Public transportation in Munich is coordinated by MVV. This includes local trains and trams. For more information on tickets and passes, visit the MVV website or download their app.

  • You can arrange a taxi via phone (+49 / (0)89/21 610 or +49 / (0)89/19 410 -- please note this incurs a 1€ fee) or download the mytaxi app.
